\n We believe in the importance of “small choices”. An establishment like ours, surrounded by natural wonders and situated in a UNESCO territory, must be at the forefront of safeguarding this beauty. \n <\/div>\n <\/div>

This is why we are always looking for new considerations<\/strong> to reduce our environmental impact, while ensuring a comfortable<\/strong> and luxurious stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some of our attentions include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  • lighting with exclusively low-consumption bulbs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • bathrooms with flow reducers for lower consumption of drinking water<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • insulated walls for energy and heating savings<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • condensing boiler<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • thermostatic valves in every room for better temperature control directly by the guest and for energy savings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    The facility also has a small bioclimatic greenhouse<\/strong> in the loggia that helps reduce thermal bridging and assists in heating the structure on sunny days even in winter. The stairwell and some common areas are also equipped with presence detectors and timers<\/strong> to contain electricity consumption. <\/p>\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Choices that Make a Difference<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Duchessa Margherita’s work doesn’t stop at electricity consumption: every aspect of life<\/strong> and guests’ stay is designed to be as sustainable<\/strong> as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In particular:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • we carry out separate waste collection, dividing paper, plastic, and glass<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • in every bathroom, we have displayed a notice for limiting daily linen washing to reduce waste<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • cleaning is carried out exclusively with eco-friendly products, and when possible, we minimize plastic consumption by purchasing refills or bulk products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      While it’s true that we do our part, it’s equally true that it’s always a team effort<\/strong>: our guests play an essential role in the effectiveness of our measures.       360\u00b0 Sustainability, Even in the Kitchen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Our breakfasts, as well as every preparation from our kitchen, follow the same ideals<\/strong>. Being fortunate to be in a region famous for its high-quality raw materials<\/strong>, it’s not difficult for us to offer a service that is both sustainable and enjoyable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Regarding breakfast and all foods served in the facility<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • we use organic, untreated, and seasonal fruit, locally sourced foods, and typical, local, and seasonal products<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • we provide our beverages in glass and ceramic cups and in glass bottles both in the breakfast room and in the bedrooms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
